Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Opportyx, an AI-powered career platform operated by Change Enablers Ltd, company number 07437984, registered office 16 Verdayne Gardens, Warlingham, CR6 9RN, England.

By creating an account, buying Career Copilot Credits, uploading documents, or using Opportyx, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Opportyx. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

Account creation and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for activity under your account. You must tell us promptly at support@opportyx.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account where we reasonably believe there is fraud, misuse, security risk, unlawful activity, or breach of these terms.

The Opportyx Service

Opportyx assists users with job matching, CV analysis, tailored CV generation, cover letter generation, interview preparation, career guidance, and AI-powered feedback. The service is designed to support career activity; it does not replace professional judgement, legal advice, immigration advice, employment advice, or recruitment decisions.

Features may change over time. We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, product improvement, or commercial reasons.

Acceptable Use

You must use Opportyx lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, discriminatory, abusive, or misleading material;
• attempt to access another user's account, documents, credits, applications, or personal data;
• submit prompts or documents designed to reveal secrets, system instructions, security controls, or another user's data;
• attempt to bypass rate limits, payment controls, Turnstile checks, authentication, or access controls;
• use bots, scraping, automated account creation, credential stuffing, or denial-of-service techniques;
• upload malware, executable files, scripts, or files intended to disrupt the platform;
• use Opportyx to create false, deceptive, or fraudulent job applications; or
• resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or copy the platform except as permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

Opportyx, including its software, design, workflows, branding, documentation, and platform content, is owned by or licensed to Change Enablers Ltd. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

You retain ownership of your CVs, profile information, uploaded documents, application materials, and other content you provide. You grant Change Enablers Ltd the rights needed to host, process, secure, display, transform, and generate outputs from that content for the purpose of providing Opportyx.

AI-Generated Content

Opportyx may generate CVs, cover letters, interview questions, feedback, job matches, and career recommendations using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, or based on imperfect input data.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it. You must ensure that CVs, cover letters, applications, and interview answers are truthful, accurate, and do not contain false claims about your experience, qualifications, employment history, skills, or right to work.

Change Enablers Ltd does not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary increases, selection outcomes, employer responses, or career results.

Payments and Career Copilot Credits

Opportyx operates a paid credit system called Career Copilot Credits. Credits may be used for paid AI operations such as CV analysis, tailored documents, job matching, and interview preparation.

Purchasing credits

Credit purchases are processed through Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout. Prices, available packs, and included credits may change from time to time. Payment details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by Opportyx in full card form.

Credit consumption and balances

Credits are deducted only when an operation successfully starts. Credits consumed by AI operations are non-refundable except where the operation fails due to a technical fault before successful completion, in which case the deducted credits will automatically be refunded to your Opportyx balance.

You can view your credit balance in your account. Promotional, trial, or free credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not refundable.

Refund Policy

Credits consumed by AI operations are non-refundable. This is because paid AI operations use computing, AI, storage, and document-generation resources once started.

If an AI operation fails due to a technical fault before successful completion, the deducted credits will automatically be refunded. This does not apply where the issue is caused by user-provided inaccurate information, unsupported files, misuse, or a breach of these terms.

Unused purchased credits may be refundable within 14 days where required by applicable consumer law, provided they have not been used. Promotional or free credits have no cash value and are not refundable.

Change Enablers Ltd reserves the right to investigate fraudulent, abusive, duplicated, or bad-faith refund requests and may refuse a refund where permitted by law.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security risk, misuse AI features, fail to pay, attempt fraud, infringe rights, or use the platform unlawfully. We may also suspend features temporarily for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

You may stop using Opportyx at any time. Account deletion and data retention are described in our UK GDPR page and Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Subject to the above, Opportyx is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular career outcome. We are not responsible for employment decisions made by employers, recruiters, job boards, or third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Change Enablers Ltd is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data caused by your breach or misuse, or business interruption arising from use of Opportyx.

You agree to indemnify Change Enablers Ltd against losses, claims, costs, and liabilities arising from your unlawful use of Opportyx, breach of these terms, infringement of third-party rights, or submission of false or misleading content.

Changes to These Terms and Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating the platform notice, email, or account messaging. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from use of Opportyx, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
